and Description
Welcome to the
Club Macabre`. Do you dare enter the sanctuary for all creatures of the
night, a dwelling that allows all to be free from harm and shielded from the
threats of the world about them? Then proceed, by all means. . .
Approaching the main portcullis in front of the main door to the
club, you marvel at the intricate latticework and the large iron
doorknocker looming overhead some 5 feet high. The doors open on their own
and you enter the foyer that opens into the main hall. . .
Upon
entering the lowly lit Club, you are surrounded by the architecture and design of
modern works
to which you are probably accustomed. To your right you see a fully stocked bar
which several local and imported drinks as well as a multitude of international cocktails. The mirrored pilars and walls
catch
the light from the ever-burning fireplace across the room next to that it
seems to make the main room bigger then it is with the lowered ceilings. The shadows seem to
melt in the depths of the curves and flourishes they dance upon.
Turning to gaze upon the fireplace, almost straight ahead towards the
left, you stand still in the awe of the mastery used to devise such a piece
of work as what you behold. The blazing logs lick toward the open flute, as
the surrounding stones grow warm to the touch. A daunting marble mantle
adorned with intricate carvings of, could it be? you believe you see the
figures of ancient Greek and Egyptian Gods and Goddesses etched into the dark marble?
Perhaps you should venture across the floor for a closer look. . .
The Club is also one of the most famous "Night Clubs" in Alexandria, where you can enjoy unforgettable nights with the most famous singers and oriental dancers in Egypt and
more on its stage to the right....
Throughout the large room can be found
several couches, settees
and tables for resting the weary bones, but be wary of your surroundings at
all times - strange things do happen and usually for a reason. Also in the
main hall you find off to the left side an Ivory Grand Piano, where only the
best rest their fingers on to play a lovely tune.
People and other
beings mill around the bar and main hall. The Lords and Ladies of the Club
are often present, but prefer to remain anonymous amongst the patrons.
You will know them when you meet them. . .
