The New Felix military is regarded as one of the most respected and powerful forces in Wysteria. The New Felix military only takes the best and brightest, who are in turn rewarded for the rest of their lives. The goals of the New Felix military are to: Defend the civilian population of New Felix and her allies. Maintain the Peace throughout Wysteria Assist nations in need with humanitarian efforts To offer the citizens of New Felix a job that promises Strength, Discipline, and Honor. Military Deployment The President of the New Felix is the only person who can give the order to delpoy military forces, but is heavily influenced by the Wysterian Union Chancellor, The Vice President of New Felix, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. National Guard The National Guard is the most significant compenent of the New Felix Military Reserve. National Guard soldiers can be mobilized by either the State Governor or the President to supplement Federal Military Units, and are equipped the same way as the Military. The National Guard can be subdivided into two sections: the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard. National Guard Units are usually deployed for riot control, natural disasters, or terrorist attacks. Most recently, the National Guard has been used by the President to assist police and federal authorities in the War on Drugs.
