Animals of the World. .

Animals are cool, especially the furry variety. I have had pets for much of my life and don't believe I could live without them. They make life brighter when you're down. They are the uncritical ear when you need someone to listen. They can warm your feet or your heart. Buddhism dictates that they had bad karma in a former life and are unlucky but I say that we are lucky for having them bless us in this life.

Here is my lovable, puffy Bong Shim! She's a big ball of fur that's been a part of my family for seven years. Uma didn't like dogs until we got her and fell in love at first sight!

Here is my affectionate, vocal Mushroom! He's a cat that acts more like a dog which is just fine by me.

This is our Little Monky LaniKai! She's a fearsome little devil that sleeps like a rock. You'd never know whether she's gonna' pull a ninja on you or she'll crawl into your lap and fall asleep. In any event, she's awfully cute much like her older striped brother.
