I was occupied for 2 or so weeks with this Willow Tree Painting Lesson. Among the people who stopped to see what I was up to, was the Ex- Boxing Champion Alan Minter. He was training and sparring with his nephew around the Priory Park.

He said he liked my painting, and siggested that I should sell it. I explained to him considering how long it took to paint, it`s not worth selling, and that I was just learning.

I suggested that, "no one has offered me any money for it, yet"?...as Mr Minter was leaving, I told him that I was doing it for my Mum.This he totally understood and liked. I didn`t mention that my Mum had died a month previously.

I later on sent him a print. I don`t know if its been put it up anywhere.
