FLOOD PAINTING
The pictured stairwell is location for the "Music of the Stairs" live recording session 12 February 2005. An extract backs this web page. Stairwells analogously parallel the helical motif as intertwined within subsequent painting developments.
This is the first roller experiment. It is mainly fluorescent's with a dab of umber.
Labyrinthine Serendipity

The background for this fluorescent work, was painted "live" under UV lights with a sound system, at a squat in Leytonstone in late January 2005.

The spiral was added to give a daylight interest. Although the transformation by UV makes it worth buying a "black" bulb to appreciate how it was actually painted..

I traveled up to the Tate Modern on 26 March 2005 to experience the Bruce Nauman sounds in the Turbine Hall. I tried to leave that painting for the Curator Emma Dexter, as a thank you, for inspiring my art by her judgment of Saddams Teeth for Radio 4. It was explained that she wasn`t there, or the Assistant Curator!

Works Work I

This UV painting [seen here under daylight] was inspired by the visit to the Tate Modern on 26 March 2005.

This 36 X 27 canvass was a first experiment utilizing syringes loaded up with layers of more than one colour of fluorescent paint. see below
