OMINOUS SERENDIPITY

27 November 2004

The first "inspired" abstract piece was painted along to the Saddams Teeth clip as accidentally entered and judged in the Radio 4 Turbine Hall competition for the sounds of 2004 by; Time Out Art Critic Sarah Kent [31October], and Tate Modern Curator Emma Dexter [21 November]. Those reveiws -with proffessional analysis- inspired the ongoing process of abstract development.

Works Work I

This UV painting [seen here under daylight] was inspired by a visit to the Tate Modern on 26 March 2005.

This 36 X 27 canvass was a first experiment utilizing syringes loaded up with layers of more than one colour of fluorescent paint.
