It is appropriate that persons who have a common interest should join together in the formation of an organization whose purpose shall be the furtherance of that common interest and the creation of lasting bonds of fraternity. Certain persons residing or working in the State of New Jersey or vicinity, being primarily interested in the field of Parasitology, do hereby join together in a society to be known hereafter as The New Jersey Society for Parasitology. |
This society shall endeavor to foster interest in academic and nonacademic research and instruction in Parasitology. In addition, this organization will serve as a source of information regarding the work of the parasitologist and knowledge of parasites and the phenomenon of parasitism. In pursuit of these objectives, this society shall present speakers (members or invited guests), arrange for the showing of films, give demonstrations and conduct other activities for its members and other interested individuals. |
