North Central Welsh Exhibitors Association If you are a member of the WPCSA and show in the North Central Region, you could win another award in addition to the certificate which is given by the WPCSA.  The North Central Welsh Exhibitors Association(NCWEA) is not a traditional club.  Its only purpose is to supply additional awards to the WPCSA North Central Region winners.  Membership in the NCWEA is open to any person exhibiting registered Welsh & registered Half-Welsh and Cobs, holding a membership in the WPCSA, and showing in the North Central Region.  There are no officers, meetings, activities or membership dues. A fee is paid for each pony exhibited.  The fee is based on how many divisions an animal is shown in. If shown in only one division, (halter for example), the fee is $5.00.  If shown in two to three divisions  the fee is $10.00 and if shown in four or more divisions the fee is $15.00. Any WPCSA sanctioned show held in the North Central Regiona counts for points.  The WPCSA counts the points, and we award the WPCSA Regional winners they have designated.  The The fees paid purchase large, beautiful ribbon awards for placings: Champion, Reserve Champion, Third and Fourth.  When funds allow, silver mementos are also given. The NCWEA awards program is currently held in March for the previous show year.  This year, participants received a large rosette ribbon and silver tray.  If you are not thrilled with the paper certificate for your WPCSA Regional winner and would like something more to show for your hard work, sign up for NcWEA today.  Pony must be owned by or WPCSA leased to person enrolling pony. Carefully print the following information on a sheet of paper and send to me at the address below.  Enrollment closes June 1st of each year, before show season starts. Necessary information:  Your name, complete address, phone number, name of animal, registration number including what sectionit is, sex, sire, dam and division(s) each pony will be shown in.  If enrolling a personfor divisions judged on the exhibitor, like showmanship or leadline, indicate that instead of animals name. Examples: For halter it is ok to just put halter for the division.  Performance:  Adult English Pleasrue Sec. A& B, or Pleasure Driving 12:2 & under, or western pleasure half-Welsh etc.  In other words, indicate WHICH divisions the animal will be shown in.
