NZ Naval Board (obsolete) |
By Order-in-Council of 14 March 1921, the
New Zealand Naval Board was
constituted for the overall direction and
administration of the New Zealand
Division of the Royal Navy.
The flag of the New Zealand Naval Board was red/blue (upper half/lower half)
with a large yellow anchor (the top of it pointing left). The NZ Naval Board was renamed the Naval Board of
the New Zealand Defence Council after the passage of the Defence Act in 1964.
It was finally abolished in 1970, and its flag become obsolete.
