Quina Quen

Quina can be recruited to your party from its his/her home in Qu's Marsh on the Mist Continent. This strange and funny creature is a Qu, and its language is quite primitive: "Ooh! Village! I go look for good food in village. Village always have good food." Being a gourmand, Quina wants to travel the worldwith Zidane and find good food to eat. This enables him/her to eat enemies on the battlefield. Not only does this kill the enemy, it may teach Quina a Blue Magic ability!

Because Quina's physical attacks vary at each attack, you should rely more on his/her Blue Magic.

During any battle, Quina can attempt to eat an enemy...However, the enemy must be weak to be eaten. Use Dagger's scan ability to determine how much HP is left on the monster. When their HP is low, have the weak attackers attack and have Quina eat. (A very easy way to eat an enemy is when you have Matra Magic, cast it, and have other party members do things that don't hurt the enemy. Next time it's Quina's turn just eat it and it's gone! ^^ Works for me sometimes..)

Quina cat eat almost any kind of monster, and even some Bosses, too. The abilities that Quina learns enables you to perform some tricks that'll help you kill monsters and bosses easier. Since some monsters only appear up to a certaoin point in the game, teach it as many attacks as possible by trying to eat as many enemies as possible!

In addition to the eat ability, Quina will ask Zidane if he can catch frogs when you go to a Qu's marsh in Gaia. The more frogs you catch, the better!
