Oklahoma City Wild Wild West Hash House Harriers
The International Drinking Club With a Running Problem

Is Hashing For Me...

Consider this: Have you ever stopped and thought to yourself "Why, if I had a beer right now, life would just melt into perfection..." At home. The Office. The SO's jail. Wherever. And as you thought this, did you wonder if there were others like yourself? Well, fortunately there is a support group for those that have half a mind to abandon the corset of the daily grind and enjoy camaraderie between friends, some pints and a trail. It's called Hashing.

Hashing began when a couple of British officers , during WWI, got fed up with being Hoity-toity tight asses, took a dose of fuckitol and set out to enjoy a trail and some beers to the end at a place they lovingly referred to as the Hash House in Kuala Lampur. They did not recognize rank or rules and got so soused that they decided to try it again. Then someone blabbed and it spread like mono at church camp to all parts of the world, evolving into the kennels in every major city around the globe we know today.

As the love child of fellowship and debauchery, hashing is a mosaic of rich traditions, silliness, crunkitude, and a little exercise to boot. Anyone can join and your first trail is free. Sound like fun?  We hash most every Saturday and social on Wednesdays. Check our schedule below for our next event.

See you at the hash.
