PRICING:

All prices are negotiable and are usually considerably less than European prices.

PAYMENT:

Payment is usually made by the customer on receipt of the instrument through international bank transfer by mutual arrangement.

However for “eccentric” instruments such as violas between 370 - 390mm and 425 - 50mm, violas d’amore, and asymmetrical violins and violas, 100% payment will be requested on the day of order with a working-period of approximately 6 months allowed.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Oleg does not build copies of instruments by classical makers. All of his instruments are original. In order for the instrument to be tailor-made to individual requirements, the customer may request the following specifications for the instrument when placing an order:

Size

Colour

Dimensions - Distance between the strings both in first position and at the bridge as well as the required width of neck.

Shape of neck

Sound quality - the kind of sound preferred depending on:
Main intended purpose - solo playing, chamber music or orchestral
Main musical genre - from Baroque to Heavy Metal
Colour of sound required - deep bass and quiet A string or bright A string and very concentrated C string.

Type of strings - Gut, metal or composite

Wood - What type of wood is preferred for the tailpiece, fingerboard, pegs and chinrest:
ebony, rosewood, boxwood or anything else preferred.

Chinrest - All instruments have a clear bottom rib system (patent pending). However, in order to ensure satisfaction, it will be necessary for the customer to submit a favourite used chinrest or at least explain the shape of chinrest preferred.
