In accordance with the rules established at the beginning of the year, each member must aquire 15 points for the 9 weeks. If a member is unable to achieve 15 points at the end of the nine weeks, the member will then have until the next nine weeks to make up the number of points missed in addition to the 15 points for the next nine weeks SHOULD they be given the chance. If the member does not meet the reqirements, they will be taken off the member roster. Confusing? Go here for an explanation.

Confused? That's okay, it sounds confusing. Let's take three example names... for my personal enjoyment, let's say we have members Draco Malfoy, Cho Chang and Percy Weasley. Okay, at the end of the nine weeks, it comes up that Draco has -8 points, Cho has 6 points, and Percy has 21 points.
Percy has achieved the minimum requirement of 15 points, and starts off with a fresh slate for the new nine weeks. None of his points will carry over.
Cho is 9 points short of meeting minimum requirement. Therefore, she will have until the end of the nine weeks to make up those 9 points in addition to the 15 point requirement. In other words, instead of 15 points to earn for the nine weeks, Cho must earn 24 points.
Draco has it tough. He has -8 points, which is 23 points short of meeting requirement. Therefore, he will have until the end of the nine weeks to earn 38 points.
Now that may seem like a lot of points, but it really isn't that many. As long as you do more than simply attend meetings (like do the in-meeting project, bring food to meetings, do outside community service or do events with the club), meeting point requirement should be easy.
