Isaac Land, Sr. was born about 1750 in either North or South Carolina, and died in 1821 in Richland, Haywood County, North Carolina. We do not know who he married, but know they had these children:

Isaac served during the Revolutionary War with the Militia of Union County, South Carolina, he fought after the fall of Charleston. In 1785 he collected his indent from Union County, South Carolina for militia service.

Ann Land, the daughter of Isaac Land, was born about 1774 and died between 1802 and 1806 in Haywood County, North Carolina. She married John W. Bryson before 1798 in Pendleton District, South Carolina. After Ann died, John married Jane Poston and they had 14 children. The children of Ann Land and John Bryson are:

Hosea Land, the son of Isaac Land, was born 1784 in French Broad River, South Carolina and died 17 Apr 1876 in Hiwassee, Townes County, Georgia. He married Zilpha Thomas, 17 Oct 1810 in Halifax County, North Carolina, the daughter of Joseph Thomas. Their children are:
