OSDINO
The idea of forming a Rock Band appeared in a circle of friends, in Brasília (Brazil). It was the year of 1996 and, at this time, we used to meet in Times (old bar located in the "Street of the Restaurants"). For many years each of us had been playing some instrument. Why do not form a garage band and have fun ? Little by little we acquired the necessary equipment such as guitars, bass, battery, amplifiers, sound table, sound boxes, microphones and other accessories. We started to rehearse at our houses in the weekends and, later, in studios.
Without being a cover band, the OSDINO repertoire flowed naturally to rock and blues (reinterpreting some of national and international music). America, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Rolling Stones, Steppenwolf, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Barão Vermelho, Lulu Santos, Capital Inicial, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Rogers, BB King among others, are part of the repertoire. From June 2001, we began to present some works of our own.
The current members of the group are part of the original formation. Besides these guys, other fine musicians played in the band (not necessarily at the same time): Myriam (vocal and keyboards), Renan (vocal and sax), Arthur (voice), Rodrigo (drums), and Thomás (drums).
