The surf with this storm was not near as bad as it would have been had the eye passed to our east instead of our west. However, the surf got much higher as the storm progressed. (See below) |

Taken the next morning, this shot and the next give you an idea how high surf eventually got. Look at tide/wave lines in sand at foot of dune. |
