Kitty & The Midnight HourAuthor: Carrie VaughnPages: 272 Rating: 4/5 Read: 1 Kitty, a female werewolf, creates a radio talk show offering advice to others of the supernatural...werewolves, vampires, and others. I, being one who will read anything about werewolves, picked this book up yesterday and finished it today. Meaning, quick read, but good read. I liked it. Sometimes I thought the book was going too fast though. I mean, six months passed in a couple of chapters, and I felt that some of the radio talk show conversations could have been longer, but no one can have everything. There wasn't much romance going on; I actually don't think Kitty has anyone to be with, at least in the first book. Of course, the book really sped up, so I don't think she developed any relationship/getting-to-learn-about-eachother with anyone, especially with Cormac. I half expected TJ to un-homosexualize himself and love Kitty or something. I just didn't feel that Cormac and Kitty knew enough about eachother. I didn't like the lawyer at all. Talk about annoying. I get little peeves at little things sometimes. I'm really looking forward to the next book though: Kitty Goes To Washington. Date: September 22, 2005 |
