Empowerment
I watch as thousands of arms outstretch
Reaching for morsels of freedom, of hope
The world watches the stark reality in shock
The horrific nightmare carried to everyone
What stories of brutality and beauty will never be told?
Ancient Fueds settled with contemptous hearts
The Iron Curtains fall was of terrible consequance in the Balkans
Those Who stand together before God, Allah, Yaweh
Will not stand together in arms
All the while innocents cry
Joyful freedom of childhood exterminated
desperation takes hold
Their lives ending because of hate
Who will be responsible for dreams lost?
The world must stop what they can
