Mr. Right
I saw you hurting
You said to me
“a kiss from MR. RIGHT will heal me”
Then beckoned me to try
I somehow resisted you
Resisted getting pulled into your wound
Wondering if I would cause it to sting
Waiting for you to be ready
To feel the healing powers
But you never came to me
Instead you turned to someone else
Proclaiming that he’s Mr. Right
And his kiss healed you
But unless my eyes deceive
I still you bleeding
Bleeding through this bandage
Who couldn’t keep that blood contained
You’ll keep bleeding
Keep swapping out bandages
Once the blood soaks into your pretty white dress
The cloth might as well be nothing
Will you ever learn
You don’t need to hide the problem
Or hide from it
We can heal you together
It’s alright to bleed
You must embrace that pain
But he can’t show you that
If he is Mr. Right
How come you still bleed
