These are the Rules Of Acquisition. They number in 285 in all, and are the rules that all transactions between Ferengi are supposed go by, and how to help earn a Ferengi profit. Over the years we have come into the knowledge of some of those rules but not all.

1. Once you have their money, you never give it back.
