Part IV
    Usagi sat on a bench in Rainbow park. It was still the same park where she had spied on Mamoru and Rei-chan so long ago. Had it really been that long? No, only one year, but it seemed like centuries. She sighed as the memories began to roll like an old movie clip, she shook her head. No, she was here for a reason. She held her hands out before her and summoned the crystal from her locket. "Ginzuishou! Take me to the Moon!" she vanished in a flash of white light.
    When her sight returned and she looked at the familiar Lunascape surrounding her. Her Princess Serenity gown had returned. She held up the Ginzuishou, "Crystal! Show me where the Dimensional Mirror lies hidden!" she pleaded with the crystal. A laser of light emanated from the silver crystal floating between her palms. She followed it through the ruined halls. Finally she came to a section of the palace that had been preserved much better than the rest, in fact if the castle had never been destroyed, that’s how it would look.
    Inside the chamber, there was a pedestal with a mirror made of silver floating above it. She read a silver plague before it. "IF thought be of Royal blood thine presence in this chamber is tolerated, if ye be of un-pure soul do not touch this mirror, or thy soul will be in mortal danger.  Un pure soul? Only one way to find out. Though how any one can have a pure soul is beyond me, pure what I’d like to know." she reached out a hand and grasped the mirror. "Here goes!" nothing happened. She blinked, "OK, this is just too easy. Isn’t there a catch here somewhere? I have been through this before! There has to be more to it!"
    Suddenly Queen Serenity’s spirit appeared above the pedestal. "You have passed the test, my daughter. One who is secure in their own self worth won’t use the Mirror for evil and one who questions the way won’t let it go to harm. The Mirror is yours. Use it well!" she vanished.
    Usagi blinked, "And Rei said contrariness would get me nowhere." she muttered she held the mirror in one hand and allowed the crystal to float above one, "Let’s go home!"  Usagi found herself back in rainbow park with the Ginzuishou hovering above one hand and the mirror clutched in the other. She stowed the Ginzuishou back in her locket and put the mirror in her sub space pocket, thank the Gods she could access it un-transformed!
 

    Usagi held a hand to her forehead. Everything was spinning. Moron, she scolded herself, spending all that energy and not resting immediately, well, it’s better than passing out at the ice cream parlor. Then the world faded.

    Kuno scrambled p the stairs as he heard Akane’s yell, he saw Akane trying to shake Usagi into wakefulness. Kasumi rushed up behind him. "Oh no!" Kuno ran forward and hefted Usagi’s body in his arms. She’s so light! Like a doll, he couldn’t help but think.
    Akane opened the door to her room, "Here, on my bed!", She threw back the sheets and Kuno laid Usagi down.
    Kasumi came in with the medical kit. "Somebody call a doctor." she felt Usagi’s forehead, checked her pulse. "Oh my goddess! Forget the doctor! Get Cologne!" she yelled.
    "What is it Kasumi?" Akane hovered around Usagi.
    "She’s suffering from massive energy withdrawal!"
    Usagi could hear every word, she wanted to tell them, don’t worry, I’ll be alright, the Ginzuishou will heal me! But no, she didn’t have enough energy at the moment. She could feel the Ginzuishou feeding her energy. The bright, cold feeling swept through her body, like someone splashed her with cold water, only without the transformations.
    Kuno scrambled into the Nekohaten, "Cologne! Where are you? You are needed at the Tendo Dojo!"
    Cologne came from the back of the shop. "Ramna got himself torn up in a battle with Ryoga again?" she asked.
    "No, the girl, Usagi, who is staying with the Tendo’s is seriously ill! Kasumi said it was massive energy withdrawal!"
    Cologne blinked. "Shampoo! Get my bag! Hurry girl! A young woman has had her energy drained."
 
    The rush of new energy was too much. Memories flashed through her mind like a broken movie. She was fighting Beryl, the witch was throwing bolt after bolt of black lightning at her.   "NO! I won’t let you win this one you witch! My friends are counting on me!" Usagi screamed as Cologne fought to hold her down.
    "Hurry! Get this into her mouth! Her energy is returning too fast! If we don’t get her to calm down, she’ll hurt herself!" Suddenly a golden light began to emanate from Usagi’s forehead.
    "What’s happening?!", Shampoo screamed.
    Usagi’s body began to float upward. Suddenly she fell to the bed, a crescent moon faded from her forehead before anyone could see it. "The worst is over, she’ll rest easy from now on." Cologne sat back. "It is rare that one has to deal with so much raw power! How long has she been in training?"
    Akane sweat dropped. "Never."
    Cologne did a double take, "Impossible! She has the power level of one that has trained since birth, only much more raw, maybe that is why."
    Suddenly Usagi began to talk in her sleep once more, "Mamo-chan no! NO, he’s dead. You killed him! No!" she quieted, then started up once more, "Enjoy that laugh Beryl, it’s the last one you’ll ever have!" silence "Let’s get to it!" she subsided once more. Then she began to speak again, now her voice had changed, "I will defeat you Beryl…

    In the name of the Moon!", Serenity looked up at her nemesis, Luna’s tear choked voice echoed through her mind, ‘don’t give up Sailor Moon! Don’t let the Negaverse win! Please , the whole universe is counting on you!’
    "I hear you Luna, I am not afraid any more! Cosmic Moon Power !", She held up the Crescent Moon Wand, "Fight this evil!", Beryl retaliated with a blast of negative lightning, "I won’t let you win this one you witch! My friends are counting on me!",
    Ami’s voice echoed through her mind, "I’ll help you with this assignment Usagi if you want!"
    Rei, "You are so stubborn Usagi! IF you don’t let us help, I’ll never speak to you again!"
    Makoto, "Hey! Let us help you put her away! Still too many guys we gotta meet!"
    Minako, "Let us help, we haven’t known each other long enough for it to end yet!"
    Tears cascaded down Serenity’s cheeks, "I need you, please my friends, we’ll beat her together!" Ghostly hand reached up and clasped the wand in her hands,
    Mercury Power!
    Mars Power!
    Jupiter Power!
    Venus Power!
    "Cosmic Moon! Power! Unite!
    Their combined powers all concerted to form a huge blast of Energy that completely extirpate Beryl. "Beryl is gone, the Universe is safe again. Thanks to you, my friends Now we have a chance for peace…
    Real peace!", after those last words, Usagi subsided once more.
 

    Usagi woke to Akane’s touch on her forehead, "What? What happened? Akane?"
    Her friend pushed her back down on the bed. "Rest, you had some energy drained, Sensei probably got carried away.", She smiled.
    Usagi leaned back. "I feel better, Akane? Did I talk while I was out?"
    Akane bit her lip. "You did some raving when your energy returned to soon. Something about a guy named Mamo-chan being dead, and you killing the woman who killed him. It was kinda freaky, but with the energy you had rush into you, no one was surprised. Though when you yelled Mamo-chan, it really bothered Kuno. Soun and Genma want you to start Martial art training as soon as possible. With that much power, you’re an atomic bomb waiting to go off!" she sighed, "Feeling better?"
    Usagi nodded, "If I have to stay in this bed one more minute, I’m going to mangle something."
    Akane blinked, "You’re better. Just don’t shred my sheets. Orlin."
    Usagi blinked and looked at herself. "Oh." She was in her cat body and clothing.
    "Don’t worry, I thought you’d feel that way so I had Kuno and everyone who didn’t know about your curse leave, I got you some hot water." Orlin flicked it on her face and became Usagi.
    "Ready to knock ‘em dead?"
    Usagi smiled, "Ready as I’ll ever be." She bounced downstairs, Akane right behind. "Hey! Sorry about the inconvenience. Anyone want to go jogging, I’ve got a lot of extra energy to burn."
    Kuno paled at her choice of words. Ramna held her elbow. "Nope, you’re starting Martial Arts training. You’ve got a talent the size of mount Saint Helen’s, and just as radical!" Usagi found herself in the Dojo training room for the rest of the day. By the time it was over, she had no extra energy. Then it was time to eat and get her beauty sleep for Kuno’s dinner tomorrow.
