Part of the ITC study life was spend in Mozambique, Southern Africa for field research work

Fully prepared, leaving to the field research data collection to Mozambique, southern Africa. 11 students from different specialization with field coordinators in the Schipol Airport, Amsterdam ready to take off.

With the completion of preliminary survey of the study area, interviewing to farmers with the help of interpretator in the filed for primary data collection. (26th Sept. 2003)

Texture analysis and pH testing were the most important part of the field data collection apart from interview to farmers to cultivation management aspects of Maize.

Digitizing the exact boundary with use of Mobile-GIS is very useful tools for surveying and mapping of the land use for land use planning and monitoring
