Webelos caught in the web!
Last year our 2nd year Webelos along with a den from Pack 93 in Pleasant Valley worked on their Communications Badge at Marist College and were able to see how MCTV broadcasts live at a Marist Basketball game. Then they went on to learn how to create their own web pages at the computer lab and see how the College newspaper "The Circle" decides which stories to print for the next issue. They also were able to speak with a deaf person through sign language and lip reading. They were able to learn the Cub scout Promise in sign language!
Awards are a very important part of the Pack Meetings. The boys look
forward to getting the badges and awards for the achievements they have
made.
Please get all information to your den leaders for any awards you feel your son
should get.
Monthly Pack Meeting
All pack meetings will be the third Friday of the month,
unless otherwise noted (see calendar of events for schedule). One den will
be picked each month to do the opening, closing and clean up.
Parents: We are asking for your support in keeping as much control during
the meetings as possible. We ask that you please keep your children in the
cafeteria at all times with the exception of using the bathroom.
