Tiger Cub Handbook

Parents are encouraged to get the Tiger Cub Handbook for their Tiger. There are checklists inside where achievements, etc. are recorded. It's a lot easier to record things in the books.

In the first pages of the book, there are approaches to take with you son advising him what to do in questionable circumstances. Go over these scenarios to let your son know what to do in order that the best outcome results. One of the most helpful hints here is letting the child know that adults ask adults questions - not children. Tell your child to NOT answer any questions from strange adults, period. Tell them to run in the opposite and yell.

We cannot expect to teach our Tigers the ideals of Scouting without providing the right situation for you and your child to prosper in Scouting.
