Tour of Kibaale National Park

 

Introduction:

This is Western Uganda, 35 km from FortPortal town,which is 360kms from Kampala via Mubende town. The Park is home to several families of primates including habituated chimpanzees. It has 11 species of primates, including many families of chimps and colobus monkeys, buffalo, warthog, Uganda kob and over 300 bird species.

 

Itinerary:

Day 1: Leave Kampala and proceed to FortPortal via Mubende town, arriving in the afternoon. Late lunch at the Mountain of the Moon Hotel in FortPortal town. Proceed to Kibale Forest; 4WD vehicle is required. Forest walk before dinner and overnight at the Rest Camp. Make a camp fire drinks and lots of fun.

 

Day 2: After breakfast go for chimpanzee tracking carrying picnic lunch. In the afternoon go for bird watching in the forest. This park is famous for 300 species of birdlife. Dinner and overnight at the Rest Camp.

 

Day 3: After a lesuirely breakfast return to FortPortal for Lunch before leaving for Kampala arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight in your Kampala hotel.

 

Cost: US$ 501 per person for two pax.

 

US$ 415 per person for three pax.

 

US$ 358 per person for four pax.

 

US$ 304 per person for five pax.

 

US$ 293 per person for six pax.

Cost of safari includes:
