PaDS has a long and distinguished past stretching back some 50 years and including such challenging productions as On Golden Pond and Tom Stoppards The Real Inspector Hound. However, early in the 1990s, PaDS decided (in best thespian tradition) to take a rest. Then, in August 1997, a small band of die-hards, mixed with some naively aspiring newcomers, staged a brave attempt at revival with Acting Funny, a revue.
