Blue
This morning I visited with my shrink. I've finally decided on a name for her. She will be known as Trixie. I've always thought that was a good name for a happy, smiling, bubbly personality, and that fits her, I think.
I was late for my appointment so I got less time with her than usual but it was still productive. I explored my feelings on a couple issues regarding my family and my relationship with Mechanic. I also touched on my relationship with another man, and she gave me what I consider to be sound advice.
This afternoon at work I got a call from the past - Hulk called me. After all this time, he's back in Seattle and says I'm the first one he has contacted since his return. However, he needs to leave again and was looking for funds with which to do so. Before he's gone again, I'm hoping to see him for a little while, but I understand how important it is for him to get back to his family.
At work today I drafted a policy - this was a virginal experience. I used another policy for a similar matter as an example of how to set it up, but I made up the sentences and phrases myself. It was kinda exciting.
Well, Red's going to be back tomorrow. Mechanic is going to the airport to meet him. I'm just living minute by minute and seeing what happens.
Ahhhh... a three day weekend. I worked until 9 pm tonight so I'm really ready for the weekend. I hope something interesting and fun happens. There's the Folklife Festival at the Seattle Center, and admission is free. So there'll be interesting things to look at and musicians to hear. Maybe I'll have a date... who knows? I'm just ready for a little adventure.
