The Adventures of Paisley
Blue
The last several days have been a whirlwind of
activity for me. I attended the Yule circle which was by
invitation only with the Sylvan Grove. That was a wonderful
night I hope to never forget. The circle was inspiring and I
had a very positive, uplifting experience there. The potluck
supper was outstanding and the gift exchange was lots of
laughs. I was very pleased to walk away with a crinkled glass
candleholder setting on a metal tripod, complete with a round
candle.
Christmas Day I spent the morning at home,
then went to a downtown location to share in the turkey dinner
being given to the homeless. After that I went to Wisdom's
house, which has become the Wassailing home of the season. We
shared several glasses of cheer and talked for hours. I
finally arrived home about 11 pm and enjoyed some quiet time
finishing a lovely novel called Mad Jack.
Now it's
back to work today for me, and I am looking forward to being
on the phones. I know a lot of people still have this day off,
and they will be sitting around going, "I wonder what there is
to do now? I know!!! I will call Ticketmaster and see what
kind of events are going on in town... maybe there's a good
concert or a play I can see." And I will be there to merrily
greet them on the phone and help them get the best seats
available for the event of their choice. Ho Ho Ho!!!
