| This one started at the shortest notice of all. Got a confirmation at 7:00 and were asked to reach the Bus Stand by 8:00. Needless to say, we made it. The fellow trekkers were largely novice but gave very pleasant company.

The ride to Sakleshpur, was violent and sleepless courtesy KSRTC's bus. Saw a fort nearby, was small but good. We continued to Attihalli in another bus. And from there the trek begun. We were tired already when we reached the venue for breakfast. The guide announced after the meal that from here the trek shall start. God !! what were we doing before...

| We left the road after some time and took the "less travelled path" into the jungle. We walked on and on, it was strange that after sometime the legs stopped complaining of fatigue.
