| The night had already set, and the campsite was nowhere to be seen, we had a few emotionally charged moments, as some lost their calm. Once there, in the torchlight I could see as many as 15 leeches sucking blood, from differnt places on my legs. Gosh! had never seen anything like it. |

Had a refreshing bath in the river, was scolded by the Guide, for it was "unsafe". Resumed the trek again, but this time half of the members just gave up. They boarded a truck and left. The rest of us continued on hat seemed and endless walk. Only when we reached Subramayian the Guide disclosed we had walked 30 kms in last 2 days.All's well that ends. |
