It's taken me a total of 27 minutes to change all the clocks in this house. Lord I hate having to mess with the time. I've got 4 clocks just in my office! Then the 3 in the kitchen, 1 in each of the 2 bedrooms, 1 in the living room, and 2 watches....for a total of 12 clocks! Someone needs to invent a clock that automatically adjusts the time...like the clock on your computer. Or better yet, leave the time alone!!
My Mom took me out to dinner tonight to our favorite place in Jupiter, FL. It sits on the water, across form the lighthouse. Everything there is great, everything except the prices. We can only afford to go once every month or so. And then we can't really afford to do it. But what the heck, can't take it with ya. We came home route A1A, which winds along the ocean most of the way home. I kept thinking, as I was driving home, that another few weeks and the tourists should be heading home. YES!! Everything is so congested when the "season" is in full swing. Roads, restaurants, stores, parking lots.
We'd gone out to dinner Wed. night with my oldest brother and his family. We were sitting at Perkins and this old lady is walking around with this lost look on her face. My sister in law pointed her out to me. She couldn't find her way out of the restaurant. This is a 2 room place, with the front door in full view! The scary thing was she DROVE there! The roads are full of people like her. Old, no clue what they're doing, and all behind the wheel. It's rare when I don't have someone either pull in front of me, or almost sideswipe me. 98% of the time they're over 75 years old. I'm almost looking foward to hurricane season, just so these people will go home.
