This was basically a project for my bedroom so I made I very colorful and used quite a bit of antique glass. It's has lots of really teeny, tiny pieces in it and I really hate working with teeny, tiny pieces. But that's what makes a panel more interesting, those little touches of color. The smallest pieces in the panel are: on top one of the balloons is a small red flag measuring less 1/8" x 1/8" and another one the tiny, little barn with silo next to it; the roof on top of it measures 1/8" tall x about 3/16" wide and the glass is Wasser which is really thin. I had to use 1/8" foil to foil it. This is a panel I designed just by freehand drawing. Usually I just trace pictures. The advantage of making balloons besides lots of color is that you don't have to worry about perspective because balloons can be any size and at any height. The only thing that I would change about this panel in the future is I tried making shadows on the ground of the balloons by making balloons shapes only a little darker on the ground surfaces but it didn't come out that well. Next time I would use a dark piece of glass on the back of the panel to give it the proper shadow effect.
