Card Holder

Two part card holder

Sorry this doesn't have a fancier name.... These were made for my bosses at Comfort Fit Orthotic. When I first applied to work there, I asked for a card, and he had to go into a cabinet to get the card out.... Not to professional looking either. Ahh.... Mental note for gift. So I made these card holders, the colors are a cross between brown Spectrum wispy, and blue iridescent Armstrong for the stripe. The stripe represents the color they use in their logo, and the brown is a guy color (both bosses are guys).

The Back of the card holder, is large enough to hold a sticky note pad, paper clips, or any other junk that might be placed there. When I was finished making them, it looked either like a bench, or a car... Kind of a strange shape. Generally when I make card holders I make each one different, always looking for a good shape. This one wasn't bad, though in the future I will either slant the back some (so the cards tilt better). Or leave a cut out in the back of the cards to make them easier to grab, (currently you have to tilt the whole pile forward to get a grip on one card). Oh Well, it still functions as planned though.

This was made for Christmas of 1999.
