These were the boxes I made for my co-workers for Christmas (97-98). They're more complex than the ones I did last year when I made very simple, one color boxes. These have more colors and are much more lively to look at. In fact, they have more of a "gift shop" look to them. I attached 2 basic though fancy "common" shells to the lid, a large one and a small one. Each shell set was matched up by color. The shells were a real pain to foil. Each of the shells was cleaned, and is coated with nail polish.
The minor colors are made by Spectrum. I used pink iridescent for the bulk of the project, I believe it was Armstrong.
