Basic Shell Box

I made these boxes for my parents as gift for Hanukkah. It's large enough to hold pencils, though currently their just holding dust (Note from mom: Not true; I'm holding my nail files in it). In the center I cut a spiral shell in half, and made it into a slice (that's what they look like inside). If anything I got to use my lapidary saw :). The bottom is purple mirror. It gives the box a nice look and the mirror shines through the openings of the shell.

• Dimensions: 1-1/2" x 3" x 7"
• Pieces: 14 plus one shell slice
• Hours: 2 Hrs each (Approx.)
