This is the Barnegat Lighthouse in Barnegat, New Jersey. I made this for my boss who wanted it as a wedding gift. I wish it was more oval. I can handle a circle ok, but ovals always come out a little lumpy and lopsided, though it really isn't that bad.
The water is made from Desag I think. When looked through the light, it looks as if the sun is rising or setting. The glass has yellow at the top fading into the blue, so it gives a sunset or sunrise-like impression. I used the glass to set the mood. When I did the sky I could have chosen a plain blue, but I thought a sunset would look nicer and more colorful.
