The Grinder Bench - 1998

The Grinders Bench

Moving to the left is my grinder bench. I keep my Inland Wizard, Inland Twin-Spin, and my Gemini Ring Saw. I keep an extendible fluorescent light to help me see better. The Wizard now has the splash guard on it. I used to work without it, but I kept getting glass bits on me; quite a bit actually. When it started to get into my hair, I decided to put it on.

Inside the bench (behind the door), I keep thin boxes that has my scrap baroque, restoration glass, and clears.

Below the bench I keep all my scrap iridescent, sorted by color.

On the opposite wall, I have my other window; this one can open. There are bars in the window to keep out the thugs. I also installed a screen to keep out icky bugs. The window itself has a small lock, and a chain to keep it open.

Below the window I have a sink, (the large type for clothes washers). I can wash most of my projects in it. There's also a kitchen type sprayer installed so I can get extra water pressure on a project; and to reach where the faucet can't.
