The Bevel Grinder Bench - 1998

Bevel Grinder Bench

Turning around and to the right I have the next bench. On top of the bench I have my Bevel Max, lapidary saw, and my original Inland grinder (fitted with a 3/4" speed bit).

Next to the bench, I have the largest of my glass. Originally it leaned against the wall resting on a piece of carpet. But this was very risky for the glass. I decided to build a box,. I cut a few inches off of the bench and slid it over. This gave me a few inches extra for the box. The front of the box is hinged and has a hook and eye arrangement. With that door installed, I can keep the walls of the box fairly high, and still be able to remove the glass.

Inside the bench (behind the door), is my odd-sized glass, glass that's very irregular in shape. It also has a light installed, but is the pull-chain type.
