I am delighted to announce that Lemieux and I were married on the 8th of June, 1997, in CLAW's rainbow chapel. My poetic and playful sides united to serenade my beloved with this original composition:

Salmon mousse can't match your myriad joys,
Your appeal's greater than catnip toys,
Only Moo, and Moo alone,
Makes my playfulness dawn,
..Before, I only ate and stretched and yawned.
O----nly Moo's romantic accolades,
Thrill me so, that I forget I'm spayed,
Grasp my paw, dear love, and understand
The magic that you do,
You're my dream come true-
My one and only Moo!

Lemieux and I now have a little one, which we adopted from CLAW's adoption centre. Our new kitty's name is the Lady Francesca Ostara, commemorating Saint Francis of Assisi, the great medieval saint who loved all animals so, and in memory of the day that Lemieux's dear brother Samhain went to the Rainbow Bridge.
