I am really impressed by Sandy Tew's artwork and I am jealous!
My one and only attempt at drawing Vincent had him looking like a female alien wearing a frilly-topped blouse!
I don't think I'd even consider trying to draw Catherine, as only a few artists have been able to do her justice.

About the Artist


I was addicted to the show from the start. Even before the start. I swear I was hooked watching the preview commercials.
I used to draw as a teen but had put my pencils away when I had children. When the show first
started I cut out all the pictures in the TV Guide, etc. I was a little embarrassed about this but when
I found zines, etc., and fandom, I knew just why I had cut them all out and saved them. I went back to drawing. Doing B&B art
has helped me to improve my skills a lot. I have had art in 3 con shows. I'm not in the same league as some of the
top artists but remind myself that just 'cause someone is not a concert pianist doesn't mean they quit playing.
The show reminds us to be the best we can be without comparing ourselves to others.
B&B has also helped me to be a more independent person.
The first time I ever flew was to Tunnelcon II. It was also the first time I was away from
my home without my kids and my husband. All the friends I've made because of B&B,
including my e-mail friends, have made a big difference in my life.
I can't imagine my life without the B&B fandom. -- Sandy
