OBITUARY Gladys White Malcolm Gladys White Malcolm, 87, Clymer, formerly of Indiana, died Sunday, Sept.29, 1996, at her home. The daughter of James H. and Mary Ann Uncapher White, she was born Jan. 8,1909, in Blacklick Township, Indiana County.

Mrs. Malcolm had lived most of her life in Indiana. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Indiana, where she served as a deacon. She was also active in the Indiana Hospital Auxiliary until her illness

. She was a graduate of Indiana Normal School, now Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and taught school until her marriage in 1936. She also taught for a period of time at the Livermore School during World War II.

Surviving are her husband, Douglas A. Malcolm; one son, Cameron W. Sr. and wife, Evelyn. S., Clymer, with whom she resided at the time of her death; one daughter, Mary Ann Knuif, and husband,' Richard J., Rochester, Mich.; very special cousin in, Raymond N. Malcolm, and wife, Olp, Hartville, Ohio; four grand- children: James W. and wife, Mary Ellen, Pittsburgh; Cameron W. Jr., Dallas, Texas; Richard J. Knuff Jr. and,Ann Marie Knuff, both of Rochester, Mich.; two great-grandchildren, Sarah Belle and Patrick Carney Malcolm, Pittsburgh; one sister, Harriet. W. Long, and hug- band, Dr. H.C. Long, Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James H. White; and one sister, Gertrude White Ruth Wasmuth.

Friends will be received from noon-2 P.M. Thursday at Robinson- Lytle's, Indiana, at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Dr. James Patten officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association, 1265 Wayne Ave., Indiana, Pa.. 15701
