Moroccan House

Moroccan House painted in 1881.

The Moroccan House was purchased by Ludwig during his visit to the Paris International Exhibition in 1878. It was used in a similar way to the Moorish Kiosk, but was bigger and more 'exotic'. After Ludwig's death, it was moved to nearby Oberammergau, where it is now privately owned.
