Young Satyr, Falstaff, Grocho, on what grounds stand thier greatness if not cunning roguery and unchecked knavery? Have you a song of your own gestes cracked against an unsuspecting shield? You then may be the next Rogue of Mid-Summer.
Rules: 1..All tales shall be recited
from your own exploits, so if thou lies make it
convincing.
2...All humour must be sound and of the
nature of roguery or knavery, if your unsure of the
difference see Mirth. Humour
involving mimicry, blows and falls shall only be accepted
on the principle that a sence of roguery is present
throughout the tale.
3...The Contest ends on MidSummers
eve and the Winner will be announced and notified in a
matter of days afterwards
Prize The winner shall recieve a copy of "The Birth of Venus and other Tales" and the 1998 Rogue of MidSummer Award.
Voting and selection Anyone really pleased with a tale may write-in to vote votes shall note be tallied by number but weighed by substance, ardour and wit.
