Tickin' my time
On my stairway
Hangin' on a promise
I'm chained forever
Dust in my eyes
Rust in my mind

Obsessed by fright.
Wearied by hopes and
Every whim of mine,
Like rollin' stone
've no recourse to law
      No deals-no assurance
Only off hand says, 
Holding the sun & laconic sky
Watch me creeping
