I'm Only 33

Oh, stag at eve, you've drunk your fill---
You'd better pay your liquor bill.
You cannot stay right where you are,
So get thee, little stag, to a different bar.

Another affair
Has ended and drowned love,
But that isn't worrying me;
What do I care
If I haven't found love?
I'm only 33.

I'm not gonna pine,
For pining's a minus,
And positive's what we must be;
My health is fine
(Except for some sinus),
And I'm only 33.

Although I've had successive love
With almost no success,
I still think none the less of love---
And one thing you gotta remember:
I won't be 34 till next September.

So why go conform
And choose any lady
Just so's there's a marriage decree?
My Great Uncle Norm
Is single at 80---
And I'm only 33.
