Garrak is a mercenary. He and Leaf have worked together before, and he makes it a point to rile her. He is among the first to join Spark's team (at Castle Akroyd in Blade). In a conversation with Lyna, Garrak reveals he's not only a "merc;" He's also a nobleman, commanded by King Kashue to protect Spark. He knows Lyna is a theif, and not a merc like she says. Garrak and Lyna decide to keep each other's secrets between themselves. Garrak is very good with his ax.
