Woodchuck is a theif who joins up with Parn and the others. He likes gambling and making a profit at other people's expense. Even so, he's a good person. He's well-informed and knows what's happening on Lodoss. Parn often asks him for advice. After Leylia is freed, Karla's entity takes possession of Wood (Woodkarla).

Kashue is the mercenary king who united the Desert Kingdom of Flaim with his sword alone. He is also King Fahn's best friend. He is Parn's idol, and later on, they fight along side each other.

Fahn is the King of Valis and one of the original Six Heroes. He is wielder of the Holy Sword, and leader of the Order of Holy Knights which Parn's father was once a regent in. He is a excellant fighter and a strong leader. Once friends with Beld, they become mortal enemies.

Fianna is the daughter of King Fahn. (Unlike her appearance in the pic, she's not a bubblehead.) Around the time Fianna was born, Fahn began the process of unification. He did it by making pacts with neighboring kingdoms and promising protection. When Shooting Star attacked one of the kingdoms, they demanded Fianna as a sacrifice. He refused, breaking the contract. But because he didn't want war, he didn't pursue them. Parn's father, feeling it was ludicrous to sacrifice Fianna's life, brought her back, knowing he'd be disgraced. Fianna is brave and readily willing to help her father as a messanger to Alania.

Neese is another of the original Six who fought to save Lodoss thirty years previously. She is a High Priestess of Marfa, and head priestess of the Temple at Tarba. Neese is also the mother of Leylia.

Leylia is the daughter of Neese. Seven years before the War of Heroes, while offering prayers for the ill Ghim, she disappeared. It turns out she was possessed by Karla. Seeing her disappearance as his fault, Ghim stuggles to free her. After she is freed from Karla, she joins the rest of them and starts spending time around Slayn.

Wort is one of the Six Heroes and a sage. He spends his time alone studying in his castle. As a friend of Karla's, he is the only one who can give Parn and the others information about her orgins.

Beld is one of the Six Heroes who saved Lodoss thirty years past. Now he seeks to conquer Lodoss and claim it for his own. Thirty years ago, he defeated the owner of the Demon Sword. He became corrupt by it, and he later became the Emperor of Marmo, the dark island. He and Fahn do battle, and Beldcomes out the victor. Karla doesn't like that much, and kills Beld too.
