Narrator :
The war between the gods of light and darkness reached a climax in
which the mother goddess of the earth, Marfa, and the malevolent goddess,
Kardis, battled to the end.
After the fierce battle, the two goddesses perished like a flame flickering
away on the newly created land which was separated by the battle.
This land was later named by the people as the cursed island, "Lodoss."

After rescuing the Princess Fianna from the mysterious witch, Karla, Parn and
the others were taken to the kingdom of Vallis as heroes. Indeed, for them,
this was the beginning of their ill-fated destiny.

One was a priestess with the feeling of protection like a mother, she is the
Priestess of Marfa, Neese.
Finally, there was a fighter of magic who stayed nameless, one light which
flew away...
-Door opens which disturbs the minstrel--

Parn He's Kashue Arnargue of Flaim.
