He married three times. He married Margaret Cole bef 1831:. Margaret was born 1 August 1810: NJ.⁽⁴⁹⁾ Margaret was the daughter of Jacob Cole Sr.. She died 26 November 1856: Sussex Co, NJ, at 46 years of age.⁽⁵⁰⁾ He married Emeline Hoadaley aft 1856:. Emeline was born 20 Feb/Mar 1815: Pike Co, PA.⁽⁵¹⁾ (Additional notes for Emeline Hoadaley⁽⁵²⁾) She died 17 October 1866: Sussex Co, NJ, at 51 years of age.⁽⁵³⁾ Buried Walpack Center Methodist cemetery, aged 51 yrs, 7 mos, 27 days.

She was the daughter of Maj. Benjamin Rosenkrans and the widow of Leonard Bell. Her daughter Mary married John B. Fuller, who became Lucinda's stepson.
