| Title: Dreaming of the Day

If I did, well there probably wouldn’t be a need for all the fan fiction I write. Rating: G Contents: B/A. Spoilers: I Will Remember You, Into the Woods. Timeline: The thanksgiving after IWRU, I don’t live in America and I don’t have a clue when thanksgiving is so I’m going on the basis there was one before the whole Joyce catastrophe. But lets just say it’s after Into the Woods, so Riley can be gone! Author’s Note: Okay, please tell me what you think, I had yet to write, well, finish an IWRU story so here is a short one.
Buffy was standing, looking at the water on Santa Monica beach. Her heart gave a leap and she turned around. She saw Angel walking towards her, the sun shining on him. He stopped and there eyes met, Angel walked over to her and held her in his embrace and they kissed passionately. Buffy sighed and smiled in her sleep, as she dreamed about the day wasn’t. When she was with Angel and he were human, and they were happy. Buffy pulled back from the kiss and looked at
the clock, “There’s not enough time.”
Buffy squeezed him tight, “I’ll never forget, I’ll never forget, I’ll never forget…” “… I’ll never forget,” Buffy said as she woke up. “Forget what?” Dawn asked. Buffy shook her head, “What?” “I came in ‘cause you sounded like you were crying, you were saying ‘I’ll never forget’,” Dawn explained. The dream suddenly came back to Buffy, her and Angel, together. “I’m okay, It was just a dream,” Buffy reassured her. “Okay, if you say so,” Dawn said and left the room. There was a nagging feeling in Buffy’s gut, as if it was more than a dream, almost a memory. Buffy shook her head, the dream was probably just a result of how much she missed him and wanted him, especially after Riley left. She looked out the window and smiled and whispered “If only.” The End
